Founded in 2001 as a company specialized in 3D contract laser cutting, Lasergate was born from the deep technical expertise of its founders and immediately distinguished itself for its ability to handle complex and high-tech processes. In over twenty-five years of activity, the company has evolved to become a benchmark in the sector, thanks to a unique balance between experience, innovation, and manufacturing versatility.

Today, it boasts six laser systemsfour three-dimensional and two two-dimensional – which allow it to operate with maximum flexibility, both in prototyping and in mass production, across a wide range of materials and thicknesses. The grids and structural components created for major automotive brands testify to the quality and precision achieved in a highly competitive market, where tackling extraordinary challenges is part of daily life.

Technology at the service of prototyping and production

Three-dimensional laser cutting, initially used almost exclusively for prototyping in the automotive sector, is now a mature and consolidated technology. Thanks to the progress of plant manufacturers and the decades of experience of Lasergate technicians, this technology has become competitive even in mass production environments, guaranteeing speed, precision, and reduced setup times.

In 3D cutting, the laser beam precisely follows the geometries of components that have already been stamped and deep-drawn, allowing for trimming and shaping any type of figure within them with burr-free cuts and extremely tight tolerances.

At the same time, two-dimensional cutting represents an efficient and precise solution for processing flat sheets, ideal for small, medium-sized series, and high production runs.

Facilities and technical capabilities

The Lasergate machinery fleet includes systems with work areas up to 4000 x 2000 x 750 mm, which allow for the processing of large-scale components. The available laser sources include CO₂ and fiber lasers with powers up to 6000 watts, allowing for the optimization of every cutting process based on the material and geometry of the piece.

Thanks to this versatility, the company is able to operate on iron, high-strength steels, aluminum, stainless steel, kevlar, carbon fiber, plexiglass, wood, copper, and brass. The workable thicknesses vary according to the material properties, but the cutting qualityclean, precise, and repeatable — is constant across all substrates. This combination of technology, experience, and control allows Lasergate to effectively manage complex and customized projects, adapting to the specific needs of each client.
